Nelson Circuit Court Indictments, Oct. 16, 2013

Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013 – The following people were indicted by a Nelson County grand jury on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013. They were arraigned on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, unless otherwise indicated

13-CR-258. Robert Ray Reagan, 42, Thomaston, Ga., flagrant non-support.

The indictment alleges that between June 1, 2013 and Oct. 4, 2013, Reagan failed to provide support he knew he was ordered to pay, resulting in an arrearage of $1,605.86. Bail was set at $5,000 cash only, plus conditions.

13-CR-259. Sedrick Blunt, 30, Bardstown, flagrant non-support.

The indictment alleges that between Sept. 1, 2007 and Sept. 30, 2013, Blunt failed to provide support he knew he was ordered to pay, resulting in an arrearage of $4,051.75. Bail was set at $5,000 cash only, plus conditions.

13-CR-260. Shawn Michael Cecil, 40, New Haven, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon; persistent felony offender, second-degree.

According to the indictment, on Oct. 8, 2013, Cecil was found in possession of a .357 caliber Ruger pistol. The indictment cites Cecil’s previous felony conviction as basis for the persistent felony offender charge. Bail was set at $9,500 cash only, plus conditions.

13-CR-261. Michael Nickle Crume, Jr., 25, Bardstown, robbery, second-degree and complicity to the same; persistent felony offender, second-degree.

The indictment alleges that on Aug. 24, 2013, Crume — acting alone or in concert with an unknown male — allegedly threatened to use force upon another individual while demanding money. The indictment cites Crume’s previous felony convictions as the basis for the persistent felony offender charge. Bail was set at $25,000 cash only, plus conditions.

13-CR-262. Prentiss Dawan Hobbs, 30, Bardstown, possession of controlled substance, first-degree; possession of marijuana; persistent felony offender, first-degree.

The indictment alleges that on Aug. 23, 2013, Hobbs was found in possession of cocaine and marijuana. The indictment cites his previous felony convictions as the basis of the persistent felony offender charge. Bail was set at $25,000 cash only, plus conditions.

13-CR-263. Amanda N. Elmore, 22, Bardstown, tampering with physical evidence$.

The indictment alleges that on Sept. 1, 2013, Elmore allegedly threw something from the passenger side of the vehicle she was in to impair its availability in an official proceeding. Bail was set at $9,500 cash only, plus conditions.

13-CR-264. Monty Robin Hughes, 48, Fairfield, tampering with physical evidence; operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs/etc.; possession of marijuana; failure to give turn signal.

According to the indictment, on July 9, 2013, Hughes allegedly discarded a clear bag with a green, leafy substance under a truck with the intent to impair its availability in an official proceeding. The indictment further alleges that Hughes operating his motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs while in possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $9,500 cash only, plus conditions.

13-CR-265. Krista Lea Peake, 21, Bardstown, wanton endanger, first-degree; fleeing and evading police, first-degree (motor vehicle); operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs; criminal mischief, third-degree; operating a motor vehicle while license is suspended; disregarding stop sign.

According to the indictment, on Sept. 1, 2013, Peake operated a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs with a suspended license; when a Bardstown Police officer tried to initiate a traffic stop, Peake allegedly fled from the officer in the vehicle she was operating, running a stop sign and operating it recklessly, endangering five police officers and nearly hitting another head-on. The vehicle she was operating damaged a mail box when it left the roadway. Bail was set at $25,000 cash only, plus conditions.
