Bardstown firefighters called to Taco Bell for smoke in the building
Oct. 20, 2013, 2 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called to Taco Bell, 171 W. John Rowan Blvd., for smoke in the building. Nelson County EMS and the Bardstown Fire Department were dispatched to the restaurant at 1:15 Sunday morning. The restaurant’s occupants evacuated the building before firefighters arrived. Firefighters entered the restaurant to investigate and determined the cause was the heating system, which was been turned on for the first time Sunday morning. Firefighters were on scene for about 30 minutes.
