One injured in Friday night rear-end collision on W. John Rowan

emslogoSaturday, Nov. 2, 2013, 1 a.m. — A 51-year-old woman was injured in a rear-end collision Friday night on West John Rowan Boulevard near Franklin Family Chevrolet. Nelson County EMS and Bardstown Police were dispatched at 9:58 p.m. to respond to the two-vehicle injury accident. The Bardstown Fire Department was called to the scene due to vehicle fluids creating a possible hazard on the roadway. Firefighters used absorbent materials to remove the fluids from the road surface. The victim, whose car was struck from behind, was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital complaining of pain in her right side, abdomen and lower back.
