Police called after man chases another man into local minit-mart

Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, 4:31 p.m. — Police responded early Saturday morning to a Bardsdtown minit mart when an argument broke out between two men. Bardstown Police were called to Five Star Food Mart, 207 W. John Rowan Blvd., at 4:33 Saturday morning after a disorderly man ran into the business screaming for cashiers to call police before locking himself in a bathroom. A second man, described as a white male with tattoos and wearing a plaid shirt, pursued the man into the store and followed him into the bathroom. He then began beating on the door and yelling at him to come out of the bathroom. Police investigated the incident. Neither of the men were injured or arrested.
