Northeast Nelson Fire respond to mobile home fire on Love Ridge Rd.

newfirelogoMonday, Nov. 4, 2013, 8:45 a.m. — A fire Monday morning destroyed a mobile home in the 2200 block of Love Ridge Road. The Northeast Nelson Fire Department was dispatched at 7:25 Monday morning for a mobile home fire relayed to Nelson County from Anderson County. Firefighters from Anderson and Nelson counties responded and arrived on scene in about 10 minutes to find the home almost completely destroyed. Firefighters had the fire under control in about 15 minutes with assistance from Anderson County. Firefighers remain at the scene at this time. The Northeast Nelson incident commander has requested a representative of the state fire marshal’s office respond to the fire scene.
