BETTY JEAN PRICE
Betty Jean Burchett Price, 73, of Bardstown, died Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born Jan. 25, 1940, in Hindman. She retired after many years as a librarian for the Washington County school system. She was a member of Kentucky Teacher Retirement System.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Joseph T. Price; one daughter, Gwynn (Bosco) Gant of Cox’s Creek; one son, Joe Price of Springfield;, and 2 grandsons, Lucas Gant and Jared Gant, both of Cox’s Creek.
The family has respected her wishes and cremation was chosen. There will be no public visitation or service.
Houghin-Greenwell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
