Pie Supper Tuesday night offers pipeline, Obamacare information
STAFF REPORT
Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, 11:55 p.m. — The Democrats of Nelson County will have a Pie Supper 6-8 p.m. Tuesday night at the Nelson County Civic Center on South Third Street.
The Pie Supper is being held in lieu of election night activities since there are no local elections this year. Along with deserts and refreshments, guest speakers will be on hand to provide information on the Bluegrass Pipeline and the Affordable Care Act. Tom FitzGerald, director of the Kentucky Resources Council and Commonwealth Attorney Terry Geoghegan will discuss issues related to the Bluegrass Pipeline.
Scott and Judy Cederhold will be in attendance to discuss and offer assistance with Kynect, the Kentucky-based healthcare exchange to participate in Obamacare.
The event is 6-8 p.m. at the Nelson County Civic Center, 321 S. Third St. in Bardstown.
