FERN ELIZABETH TROXELL
Fern Elizabeth Troxell, 75, of Bardstown, died Monday, Nov. 11, 2013, in Bardstown. She was born Feb. 9, 1938, in Bardstown to the late Arvin and Irene Ash Coulter. She was a homemaker and member of Wickland Baptist Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Troxell; one daughter, Deborah Gaye Troxell; one sister, Phyllis Coulter; and two brothers, Larry Coulter and Rickey Coulter.
She is survived by one daughter, Karen Lynn (Jimmy) Thompson of Bardstown; one sister, Judy (Garland) Burba of Bardstown; one brother, Roger (Nancy) Coulter of Bardstown; two grandchildren, J.T. Thompson and Shannon Rice; and two great-grandchildren, Presley and Kyndal Rice.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery. Bro. Brad Woods will officiate.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013, and 8:30-11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, at the funeral home.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardstown is in charge of arrangements.
