Bardstown Fire responding to attic fire reported on McGowan Ave.
Friday, April 8, 2011, 10:51 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to 138 McGowen Avenue for a report of fire in the attic at that address.
11:17 p.m. — Firefighters determine there is a malfunction with the home’s air conditioner that let water drip down into a smoke alarm. There was no fire.
