Bardstown Fire respond to kitchen fire at home on Boston Road

Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, 11:55 a.m. — No one was injured in a kitchen fire at a home in the 3000 block of Boston Road at about 7:30 Friday night. Police arrived at the residence first and reported the resident had extinguished the fire. The fire had started in the oven and threatened to spread to the rest of the kitchen. Firefighters confirmed the fire was out on their arrival. They used their equipment to remove smoke from the residence. Firefighters were on scene for about 30 minutes.
