Obituary: David William Fairfax, 56, of New Haven, formerly of Bardstown

David William Fairfax, 56, of New Haven, formerly of Bardstown, died funeral_lilyThursday, Nov. 14, 2013, at his home in New Haven. He was born Aug. 1, 1957, in Louisville. He was the son of the late William Marvin and Rose Mary Logsdon Fairfax. He was a member of St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church in New Haven. He was a graduate of St. Xavier High School in Louisville and received a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University. He worked at Advanced Vision Technology, and for nine years as owner of Your Girl Friday Printing.

Survivors include two son, Bradley (Christy) Fairfax of Maryland, and Zachary “Zack” Fairfax of New Haven; two sisters, Kathleen (Mark) Lupker of North Dakota and Diane (Matt) German of Washington; two brothers, Steve (Kathy) Fairfax of Boston, Mass., and Kenneth (Nyetta) Fairfax of Vashon, Wash.; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and his caregiver and wonderful friend, Lynn Fairfax of Bardstown.

In keeping with his wishes, he was cremated and there will be no visitation or services.

The William R. Rust Funeral Home, 167 N. Main St. in New Haven is in charge of arrangements.
