STAFF REPORT
Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, 9:45 p.m. — A contractor’s crew doing preliminary right-of-way work for the Bluegrass Pipeline contacted police Tuesday morning after allegations that a nearby landowner confronted them. Two Nelson County sheriff deputies were sent to the area of Dee Head Road near the railroad tracks at the request of a Coates Field Services crew who said they had been threatened and harassed by an area landowner who claimed they were trespassing. Officers responded to the call at 11:07 a.m. The deputies determined the survey crew had the right to be where they were and talked with both parties. Officers were on scene for about 45 minutes.
