Obituary: William Otis Mason, 62, Bloomfield
William Otis Mason, 62, of Bloomfield, died Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, at his 
home. He was a native of Nelson County, a 1969 graduate of Bloomfield High School, a former employee of Humphrey Bros. Hardware and Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Wesley Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church.
He was the son of the late Charles and Rebecca Duncan Mason. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Gail Mason and Alberta Mason; and one brother, Raymond Carroll Maddox.
He is survived by one son, Corey Mason of Willisburg; one sister, Emma Allaway of Troy, N.Y.; one brother, Charles “Butch” Mason of Bardstown; one grandchild; and a special friend, Beulah Bishop of Willisburg.
The funeral is 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, at the Bloomfield Second Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Marshall officiating.
Visitation is 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the Bloomfield 2nd Baptist Church.
The Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
