C. RANDALL RILEY

C. Randall Riley, 87, of Bardstown, died Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, in Bowling Green. He was born July 2, 1926, in Woodlawn. He was a retired self-employed CPA. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II and a graduate of Bowling Green Business University. He was a volunteer for Flaget Memorial Hospital and the American Red Cross. He was a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), where he was an elder emeritus.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Grace Williams Riley; his parents, Edward Lee and Margie Lee Gray Riley; four sisters, Gladys Parrott, Catherine Keene, Edith Brooks, and Margaret Muir; and three brothers, Charlie Riley, Jake Riley, and Buddy Riley.

He is survived by one daughter, Leeann Riley (Brian) Morrison of Bowling Green; two sons, Randall Gray (Nancy) Riley of Bardstown, and Allen King (Pam) Riley of Bowling Green; 10 grandchildren, Natalie (Ross) Wellman, Derek (Brittany) Riley, Nathan (Jennifer) Riley, Lee Riley, Brian Spalding, Michael (Suzanne) Spalding, Eric Spalding, Katie Morrison, Aaron Morrison, and Ben Morrison; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the staff of Massey Springs Assistive Living and Magnolia Village Care and Rehabilitation for their loving care.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at First Christian Church (D.O.C.) in Bardstown with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery. Dr. Bill Higgs and Dr. Rick Loader will officiate.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013, and 9-10:15 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at Barlow Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may go to the First Christian Church (D.O.C.) of Bardstown.
