Obituary: Gary Leon Blanford, 56, of Bardstown
Gary Leon Blanford, 56, of Bardstown, died Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, in Williston, Fla. He was born Oct. 17, 1957, in 
Louisville. He was the retired vice president of Spectrum Brands, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and a graduate of Washington County High School.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Elsie Blanford.
He is survived by four sisters, Debbie Maupin, Melissa Mattingly, Alice O’Bryan, and Becky Johnson, all of Bardstown; two brothers, Mike Blanford, and Robbie Blanford; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, at Barlow Funeral Home with cremation to follow. The Rev. Eldon Morgan will officiate.
Visitation is 2–8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, and 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, at Barlow Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may go to donor’s favorite charity.
