Firefighters called after smoke seen coming from office roof
Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, 11 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called Wednesday morning about 9:20 a.m. to the office of Dr. Thomas G. Brelage, 206 W. John Fitch Ave., for smoke coming from the roof. Firefighters arrived to find a light haze inside the building. After investigating the source and checking the adjacent officers, firefighters determined the smoke was caused by a fan belt on an HVAC blower unit on the roof. Firefighters were on the scene for about 20 minutes.
