Obituary: Mary Ilda Thomas Warren, 94, Lebanon
Mary Ilda Thomas Warren, 94, of Lebanon, died Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, at the Village of Lebanon. She was born June 13, 1919, in Marion County. She was a member of the Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Marion “F.M.” Warren, Jr; her parents, Marcus Theodore and Ella Mary Jane Mattingly Thomas; one daughter, Norma Myers; two sons, Francis Marion Warren, III and James Pius Warren; five brothers, Losh Thomas, Pius Thomas, Ronald Thomas, Owen Thomas and R.D. Thomas; three sisters, Mary Jane Howard, Orene Mattingly and Louise Beard.
Survivors include four daughters, Sara (George) Stavros of Ashland, Phyllis (Carroll) Abell of Lebanon, Janice (B.J.) Brady of Louisville, Margaret (Howard) Mattingly of Calvary; three sons, Thomas H. Warren of Maysville, John E. Warren, of Owensboro, and Marcus Tim Warren, of Calvary; one sister-in-law, Sara George, of Louisville; 27 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, at Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon. A prayer service is 7 p.m. Thursday.
