City firefighters called Tuesday morning to city-owned vehicle fire

Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, 9:30 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called to the area of Northgate Apartments on O’Bryan Avenue for a report of a City of Bardstown vehicle on fire. Firefighter were called out at 9:12 a.m., and arrived to find that the city employees extinguished the fire with their onboard fire extinguisher. After checking the vehicle, fire crews cleared the scene at 9:25 a.m.
