Obituary: Albert Jay “Al” Lucas, 80, of Elizabethtown

Albert Jay “Al” Lucas, 80, of Elizabethtown, originally from Indianapolis, died, Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Helen Pointer Lucas.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Lucas; two sons, Brian (Shaun) Lucas of New Haven and Scott Lucas (Daneka Whitlow) of Breeding; one stepdaughter, Jessica (John) Viles of Monrovia, Ind., and their seven children and 10 grandchildren; two stepsons, James (Laurie) Crain of Indianapolis and Robert Crain of Coral Springs, Fla,; and two grandchildren, Ripley Lucas and Cole Lucas, both of New Haven.

Cremation was chosen by the family. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

The Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
