Obituary: Damon Craig Tichenor, 51, Louisville
Damon Craig Tichenor, 51, of Louisville, died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013, at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville. He was born Feb. 19, 1962, in Spencer County. He was an employee for General Electric and a 
member of Second Baptist Church of Fairfield.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Tichenor of Louisville; one daughter, Stephanie Collier of Maysville; one son, Damon Tichenor Jr. of Lexington;
two grandchildren, Andrew Coffman and Samantha Ann Coffman; his mother, Thelma Tichenor of Fairfield; his father, Chester Hughes of Taylorsville; his mother-in-law, Ann Epperson Carty of Pikeville; two sisters, Melissa Tichenor of Fairfield, Ginger Tichenor and Terry (Shon) Hayes, both of Louisville; one brother, Darryl (Denise) Tichenor of Louisville; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013, at the Second Baptist Church of Fairfield with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery. Pastor Calvin Holloway will officiate.
Visitation is 6–8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, 2013 and 10–11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013, at the Second Baptist Church of Fairfield.
Memorial contributions may go to American Heart Association.
