Obituary: Shirley Marie Clark Donahue, 74, Culvertown

Shirley Marie Clark Donahue, 74, of Culvertown, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, at the home of her daughter in Culvertown. She was born March 24, 1939, in New Haven and was the daughter of the late Thomas Carl and Alma Marie Culver funeral_flowerClark. She was a homemaker and a former member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Culvertown.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jody Donahue; one daughter, Karen Denise Donahue; four sisters, Rosaline Ballard, Leona Johnson, Essie Greenwell and Margie Donahue; and three brothers, Rudolph Clark, Otis Clark and Oscar Clark.

Survivors include three daughters, Debbie Smith and Helen Donahue, both of Culvertown, and Shevy (Ronnie) Hoback of Bardstown; two sons, David Donahue and Michael Donahue, both of Culvertown; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Bardstown with the Rev. Lawrence Lindle and Deacon Arnold Downs officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013, and 9-11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 27, 2013 at the William R. Rust Funeral Home, 167 N. Main St., New Haven. A prayer service is 5 p.m. Thursday.

The William R. Rust Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
