Obituary: Frances ‘Fran’ Sadlow, 90, Bardstown

Frances “Fran” Sadlow, 90, of Bardstown, died Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, at Life Care Center of Bardstown. She was born Dec. 1, 1923, in Elizabeth, N.J. She was a self-employed hairdresser, a volunteer at Federal Hill (now Life Care Center), and a member of The Legion of Mary, and St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she was an Eucharistic Minister.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Joseph “Frank” Sadlow; and one sister, Roz Myna.

She is survived by her sister, Rita (Donenic) Bianco of Roselle, N.J.; one niece, Rozalind Hilton of New Hampshire; one great-nephew, William Joseph Hilton of New Hampshire; and extended family Cheryl and Chris Gootee of Bardstown, who dearly loved her.

The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Chris Rhodes will officiate.

Memorial contributions may go to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
