Two injured in two-vehicle crash on North Third at Arby’s restaurant

Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013, 1:55 p.m. — Two people suffered minor injuries Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in front of Arby’s Restaurant, 702 North Third St. in Bardstown.

Bardstown Police, Nelson County EMS and the Bardstown Fire Department were called at out about 1:17 p.m. for the injury crash. The elderly driver of one of the vehicles was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital for possible arm and wrist injuries. Her 10-year-old passenger was also taken to Flaget complaining of left knee pain. The vehicle’s air bags were deployed in the crash.

Firefighters cleaned up spilled hazardous fluids from the roadway. Police were on scene for about 35 minutes.
