Bardstown firefighters respond to reported fire alarm on Sullivan Lane

Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, 12:30 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called to 1495 Sullivan Lane off US31E for an active residential fire alarm Friday evening at about 5:05 p.m. While firefighters were en route, the alarm company reported the alarm was false. The incident commander continued to the address in order to verify and discovered the alarm was triggered by food on the stove. Firefighters were on scene for about 10 minutes.
