THOMAS WAYNE CUNDIFF
Thomas Wayne Cundiff, 60, of Holy Cross, died Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, at his home. He was born Jan. 12, 1952, in Nelson County. He formerly worked as a nurse’s aide at Federal Hill Manor Nursing Home in Bardstown. He was a Catholic by faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Miles Lee and Stella Mae Vittitow Cundiff. He died with his wife, Mary Rose Cundiff.
Survivors include one son, Travis Wayne Cundiff of Bardstown; five sisters, Catherine McCullum (Emery) of Elizabethtown, Shirley Norris of New Haven, Louise Simpson of Bardstown, Martha Pugh (Alvin) of Greenbriar and Libby Pendygraft (Larry) of Holy Cross; four brothers, Junior Cundiff of Bloomfield, Darold Cundiff (Mary Jane) of Bardstown, Harold Cundiff of New Haven and Donnie Cundiff (Cordia) of Radcliff; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 6 p.m. conducted by the Rev. R. Joseph Hemmerle. Cremation will follow.
