One injured in rear-end collision Thursday on Bloomfield Road

Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, 5:10 p.m. — One person was injured in a two-vehicle rear-end collision in front of the Dollar General Store, 975 Bloomfield Road. Bardstown Police and Nelson County EMS were called to the accident scene at about 3:30 Thursday afternoon. The 53-year-old driver of the vehicle that was struck from behind was transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital complaining of lower back pain.
