Police investigate stabbing incident Monday on Ashberry Drive

Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, 1:45 a.m. — Bardstown Police and Nelson County EMS responded to an apartment in the 100 block of Ashberry Drive for a report of a stabbing Monday evening about 6:25 in connection with a possible domestic incident. Police investigating the incident were assisted by the department’s crime scene technician. The 38-year-old victim was stabbed in the back with a pocket knife. EMS transported the victim to Flaget Memorial Hospital for evaluation and treatment of his wound.
