KATHERINE ANN ‘KATHY’ BECK SALLEE
Katherine Ann “Kathy” Beck Sallee, 60, of Upton, died Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, at Hardin Memorial Hospital on Sunday January 12, 2014. She was born April 25, 1953, in Louisville and was a Baptist by faith.
She was preceded her mother, Bernice Edwards; her grandparents, who raised her, Callis and Zelery Beck; and one sister, Pam Cook.
Survivors include her husband, Roy William “Jr.” Sallee;
two daughters, Tammy Lorraine Underwood (James) of Greensburg and Sharon Anne “Sheri” Curtsinger (Wayne) of Willisburg; one son, Roy William ”J.R.” Sallee III of Upton; two sisters, Terri Tanzilla and Tina Edwards, both of Louisville; two brothers, Steven Beck and Michael Edwards, both of Louisville; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, at the Oak Hill Baptist Church in Upton with Bro. Eric Page officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven, and 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014 at the Oak Hill Baptist Church in Upton.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Sallee family burial fund and may be made at the funeral home.
The Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
