Forum for women running for state office is set for Tuesday evening

Monday, April 11, 2011, 11 a.m. — A forum for women candidates for state office is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 12 at the Bardstown-Nelson County Civic Center, 321 S. Third St., Bardstown. Meet the women running in the Republican primary for state office. Jane Higdon, wife of state Sen. Jimmy Higdon, will serve as forum moderator. This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. The forum is sponsored by the Nelson County Organization of Republican Women.
