Obituary: Destiny Groves, 31, Bardstown

DESTINY GROVES

Destiny Groves, 31, of Bardstown, died Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville. She was born Feb. 2, 1982, in Bardstown. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Boyce Groves; and paternal grandmother, Frances McMillian.

She is survived by her mother, Jane Groves of Bardstown; her father, Jeffrey McMillian of Lexington; two sisters, Kenya (Harold) Wright of Bardstown and Kasey (Benjamin) Grimes of Lexington; one brother, Branden Groves of Bardstown; her maternal grandmother, Betty Groves of Bardstown; her paternal grandfather, Frank McMillian of Texas; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in the Bloomfield Cemetery.

Visitation is 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may go toward the services of Destiny Groves.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
