Obituary: Barry E. Grigsby, 49, Bardstown
Barry E. Grigsby, 49, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at his home. He was a native of Nelson County, 
a former employee of the Budd Co. of Shelbyville, and a member of the Episcopal Church of the Ascension.
He was preceded in death by his father, Beverly Prewitt Grigsby; and an infant brother, Joseph Grigsby.
Survivors include his wife, Lynn Spalding Grigsby; one stepdaughter, Danielle Perry of Bardstown; his mother, Marie Wimsatt Grigsby of Bardstown; four sisters, Marie (David) Satterly of Bardstown, Kathryn (Tim) Clark of Lebanon, Valerie (Robert) Mayer of Cox’s Creek and Cecilia (Anthony Novasio) Strobush of Frisco, Texas; two brothers, Bev (Carol Bunch) Grigsby of Bardstown and Brad (Lori) Grigsby of Arizona; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life is 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension, 211 North 3rd St. with the Rev. Karl Lusk officiating.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Episcopal Church of the Ascension.
The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
