Bardstown Fire Dept. responds to alarm at St. Joseph School

Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, 9:45 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department responded to an active fire alarm at St. Joseph School, 320 W. Stephen Foster Ave. at 9:21 Tuesday morning. Firefighters reported a construction crew was sanding drywall inside the school and the dust triggered the alarm. The alarm company was responding to service the system. Firefighters were on scene for about 10 minutes.
