Obituary: William Sherman Bean, 75

WILLIAM SHERMAN BEAN

William Sherman Bean, 75, died Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at Baptist East Hospital. He was born Feb. 2, 1938, in Louisville and was a retired District Service Manager for General Motors. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion Felix and Creppsie Sherman Bean.

He is survived by two daughters, Rebecca (John) Sidelko of Germany and Victoria (Todd) Mason of Louisville; one son, Scott Bean of Louisville; one sister, Jacqueline Bean of Louisville; and three grandchildren.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with burial in the St. Joseph Church Cemetery with the Rev. Chris Rhodes officiating.

Visitation is 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014, at the funeral home.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
