Funeral for Bardstown native killed in E’town shooting held Monday

Tuesday, April 12, 2011, 12:45 a.m. — The minister presiding over the funeral for Toni Michelle Ballard, the victim of a Thursday shooting on US 62 just east of Elizabethtown, expressed a message of hope to her family and friends.
According to the Hardin County News-Enterprise, Stuart Jones, senior minister of the First Christian Church in Elizabethtown presided over her funeral Monday at the Kappal Funeral Home in Boston. She was buried in the Boston Christian Church cemetery.
