Flood warning issues for Boston area through Friday morning

Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, 1 p.m. — A flood warning has been issued for the Rolling Fork river at Boston from Thursday morning through Friday evening.

The river is expected to rise above flood stage of 35 feet Thursday morning and crest near 36.5 feet by Friday morning. Minor flooding of bottomland is anticipated.

Never cross a flooded roadway — turn around, don’t drown!
