Obituary: Norma Mudd, 80, Fredericktown
Norma Mudd, 80, of Fredericktown, died Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was born May 11, 1933, in Washington County. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Bernadette Mudd; and two sisters, Sister Angela Mudd S.C.N., and Dot Boone.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Mudd of Fredericktown; four children, Jerome (Carol) Mudd of Boston, Michael Mudd, and Charlie (Laura) Mudd, both of Fredericktown, and Charlene (Eddie Smith) Mudd of Bardstown; four sisters, Rose (Maurice) Smith of Springfield, Mary (Joe) Mudd of Fredericktown, Margaret (Billy Ray) Edelen, and Rose Marie (Joe Pat) Taylor, both of Bardstown; two brothers, Buddy (Ann) Mudd of Bardstown, and Randy Mudd of Fredericktown; brother-in-law, Marvin Boone of Bardstown; sister-in-law, Dorothy Ann Mudd of Bardstown; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Mass is noon Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with a private burial. The Rev. Matthew Hardesty and Rev. Ben Brown will officiate. There is no visitation.
