KSP: Missing woman, sons, located hiding in Bowling Green home

Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, 1 p.m. –– The woman sought by Kentucky State Police for custodial interference in Nelson County was located Monday night in a mobile home near Bowling Green.
On Monday, troopers at KSP Post 4 in Elizabethtown learned of the missing woman’s possible whereabouts. Post 3 troopers were dispatched to the trailer but were unable to make contact with her, but they did locate the 2011 Honda Pilot she was believed to be driving hidden from view. After obtaining a search warrant, troopers entered the residence at 11:30 p.m. Central time and found Madison-Stone and her sons hiding in the dark.
Madison-Stone was arrested on custodial interference charges and lodged in the Warren County Detention Center. The children were taken into custody and returned to their father.
On Jan. 31, police say Rachael Lynn Madison-Stone, 42, picked up her sons, Jacob Cole Stone, 8, and Morgan Lee Stone, 6, from their Nelson County school and disappeared. The children’s custodial father was unable to make contact with Madison-Stone or his children.
