Bardstown Police officer under investigation by Kentucky State Police
Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014, 10 p.m. – Bardstown Police Officer Tony Satterly is on paid administrative leave while he is under investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
WHAS TV 11 reported Tuesday that Satterly is the target of the KSP investigation, and has been on leave for about three weeks.
After Tuesday night’s city council meeting, Bardstown Mayor Bill Sheckles would only confirm an investigation is under way. He offered no specifics or comment.
WHAS also reported that KSP also confirmed the investigation but wouldn’t say what it pertains to.
Satterly has been in law enforcement since 1993, and he has been a Bardstown Police officer for more than 10 years.
Sheckles told WHAS “It’s an ongoing investigation. When the investigation is complete then we’ll address it at that particular time.”
