Delayed: Tonight’s 5th Region Girls tourney games moved to tomorrow night

Monday, March 3, 2014 12:45 p.m. — Monday night’s opening games in the 5th Region Girls Basketball Tournament  have been canceled. According to Bill Broaddus, NCHS athletic director, tonight’s scheduled games — Nelson County vs. Caverna at 6:30 p.m. and Elizabethtown vs. Caverna at 8 p.m. — will be played Tuesday night. Tuesday’s games — LaRue County vs. North Hardin at 6:30 p.m. and Marion County vs. Bethlehem at 8 p.m. — have been moved to Wednesday night.

The next round of play is set for Friday night, with the 5th Region championship game set for 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
