Kentucky Bourbon Festival donates to local United Way chapter

Thursday, March 13, 2014 — The Kentucky Bourbon Festival recently made a $2,000 donation to the United Way of Nelson County as their way of giving back to the community that supports the annual event.

“On behalf of the Board of Directors, the many agencies receiving grants from the United Way and most importantly the community as a whole who benefits from this generosity, we are truly thankful,” Kenny Fogle, United Way director said. The United Way has been the designated charity of choice for the festival for the past several years.
