Obituary: Joe Seay, 83 of Bloomfield

JOE SEAY

Joe Seay, 83 of Bloomfield, died Monday, March 17, 2014, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. He was owner and operator of Bardstown Exterminating. He was born Sept. 16, 1930, in Nelson County. He was a member of Bloomfield Christian Church (D.O.C.) and a former member of the Bardstown Optimist Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Virginia Hardesty Seay; five sisters, Mayme Brewer, Lavon Crume Montgomery, Margie Helen Seay, Mabel Thomas and Margaret Seay; and five brothers, Leon H. Seay, Thomas Elbert Seay, Charlie Seay, Harold Seay and Donald Seay.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy B. Seay of Bloomfield; one sister, Betty Ann Bubier both of Florida; one brother, Billy E. Seay; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 6 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2014, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial at a later date at Highland Memory Garden. The Rev. Bobby Olliges will officiate. Cremation was chosen.

Visitation is 4–6 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2014, at Barlow Funeral Home. Memorial contribution may go to the Nelson County Humane Society.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
