Obituary: Robert Clay Gibson, 62, Bardstown

ROBERT CLAY GIBSON

Robert Clay Gibson, 62, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville. He was born on July 17, 1951, in Nelson County. He was a Navy veteran and a member of the Christian faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerome and Barbara Ann Greene Crockett; two sisters, Geraldine C. Johnson and Pamela Lynn C. Boyd; and two brothers, Thomas M. Crockett and William Earl Crockett.

Survivors include two sisters, Linda (Frank) Douglas and Karen Crockett Jenkins, both of Bardstown; one brother, Kenneth (Nina) Crockett of Bardstown; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins; and one great-grandniece.

The funeral is 3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Bardstown Church of God with Bro. Doug Lutes officiating. Burial is in the Bardstown Cemetery.

Visitation is after 2 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014, at the church.

Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
