Obituary: Mildred McClure, Bardstown
MILDRED MCCLURE
Mildred McClure, of Bardstown, died Thursday, March 27, 2014, at her home. She was a native of Bullitt County and a former employee of Eugene Wilson & Co. She was a member of Bardstown Baptist Church, a past President of W.M.U. and active in the homemakers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. McClure; one daughter, Marilyn Hundley; and her parents, Samuel O. & Emma Ridgeway Armstrong.
She is survived by her one son, Tom (Carol) McClure of Lawton, Okla.; two sisters, Ersa Murphy of Louisville and Austine Jasper of Mount Washington; one brother, Dean Armstrong of Mount Washington; and four grandchildren, Michael McClure, John G. Hundley, Jane Reeves and Charlotte Banta.
The funeral is 1 p.m.Monday, March 31, 2014, at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardstown with Bro. John Sanderson officiating. Burial is in the Bardstown Cemetery.
Visitation is 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2014, at the funeral home.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Bardstown Baptist Church Building Fund in her memory.
Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardstown is in charge of arrangements.
