Two arrested Friday after investigation of Monday’s Atlantic Court incident

Friday, March 28, 2014, 2 p.m. –– Two Bardstown residents were arrested Friday on drug charges in connection with the Bardstown Police Department’s investigation of a shots-fired incident Monday afternoon at a home on Atlantic Court.
Willa Marie Stivers, 37, was arrested Monday while police investigated what they believed was an attempted home invasion at that address. The investigation revealed three other individuals were involved in the incident and warrants were obtained. Police arrested two of the three suspects Friday morning.
Christopher Scott “Scotty” Sheckles, 34, was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, first-degree; wanton endangerment; endangering the welfare of a minor; tampering with physical evidence; possession of a handgun by a convicted felon; possession of marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Craig Yolando Montgomery, 37, was charged with first-degree assault; trafficking in a controlled substance, first-degree; possession of drug paraphernalia; and endangering the welfare of a minor.
