One person injured in two-vehicle Louisville Road crash Monday night

Tuesday, April 1, 2014, 9:50 a.m. — One person was hospitalized Monday night after a two-vehicle crash on Louisville Road at the Walnut Creek subdivision.
Police, the Bardstown Fire Department and Nelson County EMS were dispatched at 10:45 p.m. for a report of an injury accident with entrapment. Firefighters used rescue equipment to free one of the crash victims from her vehicle.
The 50-year-old driver of one of the vehicles was transported by EMS to Flaget Memorial Hospital with chest, abdomen, back and neck pain. Other individuals refused treatment by EMS. Firefighters remained on scene to provide lighting until the vehicles were removed from the roadway.
