First Cedar Creek choir presents ‘Jesus, Only Jesus’ this Sunday
Wednesday, April 2, 2014 — The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church adult choir presents “Jesus, Only Jesus” on Sunday, April 6, 2014. The cantata will be presented two times – at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.
“Jesus, Only Jesus” is a Brentwood-Benson music arrangement by Travis Cottrell, David Moffitt, and Sue C. Smith, who also wrote the narration.
The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church choir members are (sopranos) Betty Boone, Dorothy Watson, Kathy Watson, Anetta Young, (altos) Mary Lou Mercer, Peggy Rountree, Pam Talbott, (tenors) Randy Curtsinger, Tony Leslie, Ray Rountree, Craig Watson, (basses) Robert Davis, Leroy Keeling, Tommy Watson, (accompanists) Angie Berry McCubbins, and Becky Curtsinger. Other participants include Tim Lucas and Ann Brothers, the adult choir director for Cox’s Creek Baptist Church. Narrators are two children of TFCCBC – Riley Hatfield and Gavin Vittitow. TFCCBC choir is led by Stephen Sims.
