Friday night rainfall pushes creek back out of its bank near Bloomfield
Saturday, April 16, 2011, 12:43 a.m. — The evening’s heavy rains pushed some creeks back out of their banks early Saturday morning. The stretch of US 62 between KY55 and the Bloomfield city limits was covered in part with water; a sheriff’s deputy reported about 12:30 Saturday morning that the creek that runs parallel to the roadway was out of its banks and up into the roadway. Water was also over portions of Old Bloomfield Road.
