Obituary: Hope Mattingly, 62, Lebanon

HOPE MATTINGLY

Hope Mattingly, 62, of Lebanon, died Sunday, April 6, 2014, as the result of a motor vehicle accident. She was born Oct. 5, 1951, in Marion County. She was a retired RN for Caritas Home Health. She was a member of the Lebanon Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Henry Mattingly; and two brothers, Joseph Francis and Joseph Theodore Mattingly.

Survivors include one daughter, Angela (Jamie) Adkins of Lebanon; two sons, Tracy (Melinda) Thomas of Bardstown and John (Gina) Adkins of Loretto; her husband, Larry Wright, of St. Mary’s; her mother, Helen Rose Mattingly of Calvary; three sisters, Pam (Mark) Spalding of Lebanon, Trudy (Wayne) Wheatley of Raywick and Darlene (Richard) Britton of Campbellsville; four brothers, Kenny (Jamie) Mattingly of Campbellsville, John (Gina) Mattingly of Calvary, Barry (Debbie) Mattingly and Andy (Gwen) Mattingly, all of Calvary; and eight grandchildren.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at the Lebanon Baptist Church, celebrated by Dr. David Whitlock, with burial in the Old Liberty Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon.

Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of arrangements.
