‘Walk With a Doc’ program kicks-off Saturday at Old Courthouse

Wednesday, April 9, 2014, 4:30 p.m. — If you have questions for a healthcare 
provider and would like to get some exercise in the process, Flaget Memorial Hospital and KentuckyOne Health is offering local residents the chance to take a “Walk With a Doc.”
The event will take place this Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Old Courthouse on Court Square, and will continue on the second Saturday of each month.
This week’s event will be lead by Dr. Deborah Ballard, a physician with KentuckyOne Health Primary Care.
Participants will also have a chance to receive complementary blood pressure checks at the “Walk With a Doc” events.
“Walk With a Doc” is a nationwide program that empowers people to improve their health through physical activity by exercising side-by-side with their healthcare providers.
