Bardstown Fire called to North Third St. for odor investigation

fireshieldFriday, April 11, 2014, 4:40 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department responding to Cafe Primo, 122 North Third Street in downtown Bardstown for an odor investigation. E-911 Dispatch received a report that there was a strong smell of natural gas in the area.

Bardstown  firefighters arrived on scene and made some initial checks. A representative from LG&E responded to determine the exact source of the possible leak. Firefighters were on the scene for about 40 minutes.
